Immigration Evaluations: Trauma-Informed

Immigration Evaluations

Immigration Evaluations: VAWA, U-visa, T-Visa, Asylum, and Hardship Waivers

Why Work with Me?

I understand how to support you during the process of your evaluation.  An immigrants journey to the US is complicated and filled with distressing factors taking place along the way. An accumulation of over 20 years of experience working with immigrants, conducting psycho-social evaluations, diagnostic assessments and extensive experience testifying in court. I have heard heart-wrenching stories of trauma experienced within the US and country of origin and my hope is to make our experience working together easier for you.  Immigration evaluations are not considered therapy, however they will be conducted in a professional and therapeutic manner.

Timeline & Expedited Evaluations

You can expect to meet for an evaluation over the course of 1-2 meetings.  The actual time spent in your meeting ranges from 90-120 minutes.  We will meet virtually or in-person at my office, conveniently located on the bus line in South Minneapolis. There is plenty of free off street parking available.  I offer evening and weekend appointments in order to accommodate your schedule.

You can expect to have your immigration evaluation completed within 1-2 weeks from the last completed appointment.  I will send the evaluation to both you and your lawyer.  Note: expedited evaluations available for an extra fee.
